Zenato Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2010
Product Description
One of the rare olive oils from the northland, Zenato comes to us from Lugana in the Lake Garda area of the Veneto. Uniquely produced with Casaliva olives and lesser amounts of Leccino, Frantoio and Pendolino. The color is a brilliant yellow, tinged with emerald green, and we found it to be characterized as fruttato intenso. The oil is lively and herbaceous, redolent throughout of fresh garden vegetables, artichokes, and pine nuts. It is savory with pronounced fruit and herbal aromas.
